Interconnection and PTO, end to end

Two filings, months apart, with a different process at every utility. We prepare both, file them within 24 to 48 hours, and stay on the utility until the system can export.

  • Filed within 24 to 48 hours
  • 90% approved on the first attempt
  • Coverage across 1,000+ utilities
01

Interconnection application

Forms, one-line diagram, equipment specs, and system sizing prepared to that utility's thresholds and filed within 24 to 48 hours.

02

Utility review

We answer the utility's questions and track the application until you are cleared to construct.

03

PTO submission

Completion documentation and as-builts packaged and filed through whatever channel that utility uses, online or offline.

04

Follow-through to activation

We stay on the utility and handle redlines at no extra charge until Permission to Operate is issued.

Two Phases

What we handle, and when.

These are separate filings at different points in the project. Treating them as one process is how systems sit finished and dark for weeks.

Phase 1
  1. 01

    Interconnection application

Filed before install. Forms, one-line diagram, equipment specs, and system sizing prepared to that utility's requirements and thresholds.

  2. 02

    Utility review and conditions

We answer the utility's questions, supply what they ask for, and track the application until approval to construct is issued.

Phase 2
  1. 01

    PTO application

Filed once install and inspection clear. Completion documentation, inspection sign-off, and as-built detail packaged to the utility's requirements.

  2. 02

    Utility review tracked

We track the utility's review of the completed install and answer what they come back with. Scheduling the inspection itself stays with your team.

  3. 03

    PTO issued and activation

Permission to Operate lands on your project. The system is cleared to export and the job is closed.

Both, and they are separate filings. Interconnection goes in before install, PTO after inspection. Most installers hand us both so nothing sits in the gap between them.
